Hugh Jackman Stops Broadway Play Because Of A Phone Interruption
Hugh Jackman together with his Bond co-star Daniel Craig opened their new play "A Steady Rain" on Broadway, Hugh was doing his thing when suddenly some idiot's phone started ringing and the guy wouldn't answer it or turn it off.
So Hugh got kinda pissed and stopped the entire scene to have a little Christian Bale moment with the guy, only the best part was, he still stayed in character when he told the guy off.
Check it out, it hella hella funny!
But honestly I thought that was really really unprofessional coming from a Broadway actor I admire like Hugh Jackman. Sure the dude is being a dick but you gotta at least know that things aren't always gonna go smoothly when you put on a show. Though I also felt like punching the people in the audience when their phones start ringing when I did Kaki Blue hahahahaha.
Dude, you're interrupting Wolverine and James Bond on the same stage man. You want to die izzit?
Surrogates: Review
Hi. Having online friends and cyber dating is just sad. That's all.
So I got to go for the early screening of the show and didn't really know much about it, and to be honest i knida liked the movie. Okay so Surrogates is about a future world where people never leave their house but control these robots called Surrogates to interact and live their daily lives. Anyone can be anything they want and do whatever without any real implications cause their in actual fact just sitting at home controlling robots. It's kinda like RPG and chat rooms but in real life
The film has a lot of bold elements that take a stab at how we rely so much on technology like the Internet and stuff that we beging to lose what really makes us human. Surrogates give a whole lot of philosophical point-of-views that'll keep you pondering and but sometimes it does feel a little preachy.
Bruce Willis plays a cop who is forced to leave his home without using his Surrogate for the first time in many years in order to investigate a human related Surrogate murder. Willis makes the film watcheble, his role is one of the better ones he's had in a long time, though it's sad he didn't have much of a good script to play off. Radha Mitchell is awesome as ever playing his partner and damn.. Rosamund Pike looked realy good in here. (Surrogate Rosamund Pike not the real one, real Rosamund Pike was super ugly) What I didn't like about the show were the actions scenes that were crowbarred into the movie for the sake of making the film slightly more entertaining, I get why they had to do that but I would have prefered if they just stuck to developing the thought provoking themes, which kinda had to take a back seat halfway through the movie to make way for the explosions.Surrogates was a good show, I liked it a lot but it's the kind of movie that you watch, like and just forget about. It doesn't really have anything that will make you want to go back and see again. But for good entertainment, yeah give it a go, but don't pay more than RM7 for it, it isn't that worth it.
One part in the movie that really made me laugh was when Bruce Willis is having an argument with his wife aka. Surrogate controlled by his wife and she just went like "OK. This conversation is over" and just switches off. Hahahahahah. The perfect way of getting out of any argument!!
RATING: 6.5/10
Surprise! Surprise!!
Daniel White had quite a surprise in store for his bride, who didn't know she was going to be a bride when she woke up Saturday morning. Nicole was just thinking they were going on a regular Las Vegas trip, surprise surprise! Daniel had been planning their marriage for quite sometime and the romantic side of him came out when he decided to surprise Nicole even more with inviting family members to the suprise wedding.
Daniel came into our chapel for a consultation and explaining that they flew into town on Saturday morning at 10:00 am, as well as guests that flew in that morning and were planning to fly out at 6:00 pm, so being on time is very important. Nicole still had no idea until they were getting ready and the limo pulled up!

"I Do" Again!!
It is always a joy to be married to the one you love. An amazing couple of ours has had this previlage twice. Andrew & Joanne Howell were married at the age of 21 many years ago. After being devorced for a year and a half they decieded that life was too short and that they really did love each other. So at the age of 59, once again on September 25th they said "I Do" at the Chapel of the Flowers.
Whether it is your first marriage or your fifth, come celebrate with us at Chapel of the Flowers!

Chapel of The Flowers Takes a Field Trip!!
Once upon a time there was a staff meeting, deciding that the lovely ladies of Chapel of The Flowers, deserve an evening of laughter and excellent food! Little did the managers know the evening would be not only fun,but it was full of funny stories, jokes, tasting an entire menu and table dancing by our most elegant coordinator Beverly! (Few sips of Diet Coke and she gets a little wild!!) OK, there was no table dancing, but there was toss up of who would be dared to, between Beverly and Andria who just had a baby and first time out on the town, were a wild bunch!
Salads, shrimp with meat, kabobs, petite filets, spicy ribs, dates to die for, roasted peppers oh my!Bread with some sort of fabulous butter, canonoli's,calamari, croquettas, berry tarts, banana and nutella sandwiches, cute waiter and a partridge in a pear tree were just a few items we had!All the staff at Firefly restaurant and all the patrons at the bar, were green with envy of how much fun we were having and enjoying the view of 11 beautiful ladies all smiles on their faces!
At The Chapel of The Flowers were not only co-workers but were friends. It's very rare to have co-workers that become friends or some cases like family in a work environment, but somehow our little story book chapel is able to accomplish that.Unfortunately we had a few planners and coordinators missing but we carried on with out them, even though it was tough, but they were truly missed.
We had so much fun being able to socialize outside of the work place so we can get to know each other better!
After trying the entire menu, topped off with dessert, we waddled out to our cars, said our goodbyes and walked away with a memory of a wonderful evening! Were a great team at Chapel of The Flowers and none of us can do our job alone, we all work together and we produce amazing weddings! Thanks to the managers for such a fun night and thank you to all the staff for doing such an outstanding job!
Unique Bouquets!
I think it is so great when a bride chooses to have a unique bouquet! It adds an extra special touch to the wedding day and shows off the bride's personality.
This bouquet included light pink and white dahlias, leonidus rose, apricot roses, brown hydrangea and seeded eucalyptus. Feathers were placed throughout and the bouquet was tied with leopard print ribbon.
This bride chose to use a crystal bouquet that her fiance had made for her. It looked great against her black dress and had added meaning since her future husband had made it for her.
Stargazer lilys, lavender and white roses and hydrangea made up this wonderful bouquet. It was finished off with a light green elegant knotted hand tied wrap with pearl pins as accents.
Mommy & Daddy-to-be
Today Wayne Alexander & Denise Jackson came to us to end their 20 years of dating and finally become Mr. & Mrs. Alexander.
I LOVED Denise's dress! It was very cute and elegant for a mommy-to-be wedding dress. Wayne & Denise are expecting their first child come january and they will be suprized to see if it is a boy or girl! Denise is hoping for a girl because she can't think of any boy names she likes.
Along with the happy couple were their good friends Geoff & Melanie all the way from Lynhurst, NJ. We hope Wayne and Denise the best in years to come! And enjoy that new bundle of joy!!!
A RING OF GOLD
This past Monday, September 21, 2009 the Victorian staff had the absolute pleasure of meeting David Price and Suzanne Nash from Pontyclun, Wales. During the checkin process we ask the couple for their rings so we may take a few pictures with their flowers.
As David opened this beautiful wooden box your eyes fell on their rings, especially the grooms and hence the story he told of how he obtained this ring.
As David opened this beautiful wooden box your eyes fell on their rings, especially the grooms and hence the story he told of how he obtained this ring.
The ring is a family heirloom and has been passed down for five or six generations. The first generation grandfather and 3 friends were mining gold in Oklahoma and found a large nugget and was split into fourths, giving each some of the gold to do with what they wanted. David's grandfather had his share made into a wedding style band. which was retained in the natural form of gold, so this ring's appearance takes on a copper color because there was no other method used to treat the gold ore.
As a young boy his grandfather gave him the ring to keep for his wedding day. He said to his grandfather that the ring was too big and was told that he would grow into the ring. And sure enough it was a perfect fit.
