This past Monday, September 21, 2009 the Victorian staff had the absolute pleasure of meeting David Price and Suzanne Nash from Pontyclun, Wales. During the checkin process we ask the couple for their rings so we may take a few pictures with their flowers.

The ring is a family heirloom and has been passed down for five or six generations. The first generation grandfather and 3 friends were mining gold in Oklahoma and found a large nugget and was split into fourths, giving each some of the gold to do with what they wanted. David's grandfather had his share made into a wedding style band. which was retained in the natural form of gold, so this ring's appearance takes on a copper color because there was no other method used to treat the gold ore. As a young boy his grandfather gave him the ring to keep for his wedding day. He said to his grandfather that the ring was too big and was told that he would grow into the ring. And sure enough it was a perfect fit.
