Black Swan & The King's Speech lead films on BAFTA longlist


The British Academy has announced the films longlisted for its 2011 awards, with Black Swan and The King’s Speech leading the pack, recognized in 15 categories each.
Inception and Made In Dagenham followed in 14 categories each, and The Social Network was listed in 13 categories. In 12 categories each are The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Alice In Wonderland, True Grit, Shutter Island, and The Fighter.
Among the surprises for longlisted films, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo had an unexpectedly strong showing in 12 categories (plus The Foreign Language nomination detailed below).
