The reason I ask this is because I saw a post saying that the iphone 4 white is Susceptible to limera1n and can be jailbroken, but does this new white version come with any kind of baseband update?
Or is it the same?
I want to jump from my 3GS to the 4 but I rely on ultrasn0w for the unlock!

Way to go apple for getting rid of useful features to make the nano so small. It's basically a shuffle plus.

I would buy an apple product if I could get FM radio and be able to watch movies on the same device. Wait... my old nano can do that...then why the **** is this one advertised as having more features. Geez. Touch can watch movies but does not have a radio.

Guess I'll wait for the refresh, hopefully they will be logical this time.

OP never said they had a first, second or sixth generation device.

Parallels does NOT partition your drive. Hence Disk Utility will not detect any partition.

For cleaning your new processors and getting old thermal paste off, ArctiClean is excellent - a few cotton buds will make quick work of old paste.

Unless you've heard or read something like "Application X will not be supported in Lion" (a good example is Blizzard announcing that some of its older games won't be supported), it might still end up working.

By default the marquee takes 100% of the width of the container so in your CSS for the tag put something like:

I suppose a few more details for specific help would be required. Do you want it visible to the outside world, or just another subnet that you are connected to? Are you on a corporate network, or a small network with a basic ISP modem/router that you have access to?

Edit: Do you want to publish it to a hosted co.cc domain, or host it on your own server?
I would prefer to have it accessible by everyone, though I plan to only let a few people know the link to it.
I'm on a private LAN, nothing fancy or related to business or others aside from myself really.

I was told that I had to get an external domain for it to work, and I'd like to use that in the link.

I checked my 2WIRE and it said that Mac OS X server is already being forwarded, yet when I switch to a nearby separate LAN I am unable to get it to work.

dethlOct 26, 11:56 AMDon't think so I've bought Apple merchandise at NMSU, no has ever asked me for an ID or any other proof of being student/faculty/staff. However, I am a student, so maybe they're just used to seeing my face.

Look at it this way, the worst they can tell you is "no." Personally, I doubt that will happen.

I think for the release events the bookstore will want a student ID since the price is a promotional one until the end of the month (actually you have to preorder to get the $89 price tag if you don't buy a copy tonight). I think they required my ID when I bought Tiger from them.

Plus I use Audio Hijack Pro (http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/11067/audio-hijack-pro) to control many system sounds (and record any system sound).

No, my finders aren't broken. When you use the F10,11&12 keys, the volume bar comes up on the screen. I want more resolution (hence a bigger volume bar). So i can listen to music quieter (or have more resolution at quieter levels).

Also, i don't want to change the system sounds, just control each windows volume separately, but this is not the main question.

Movist - my default media player at the moment though i've recently started having crashes on mkv's with embeded subtitles.

MplayerX - I absolutely love the way it looks with the borderless window but I can't seem to get it to work efficiently without skipping and choppiness.. watching a hd mkv over the network and it skips every 2 seconds.. same video files stream perfectly in movist or mplayer extended. Has anyone else had this problem?

VLC - my player of choice on pc and works sufficiently well on mac

Mplayer Extended - works great and i love that you can launch multiple instances. Interface is a bit lacking though.

any others?

The download site is not even the official Divx site, so it is safe to assume, that the "Divx" they offer you is shady and maybe even ridden with some kind of Windows malware, therefore you can't watch those videos.

MalApr 29, 10:54 PMFirst thing to try is to delete ~/Library/com.apple.Dock.plist (~ denotes your user folder, in case you're not familiar with the notation), and then restart. That will recreate that file with the default contents. If that doesn't work, you'll have to do a reinstall probably, unless you saved the original Dock.app files (which is always recommended, even when using CandyBar or similar apps). If you use Time Machine, then you can get it from there, assuming you didn't intentionally exclude System Files.
