Vanessa was born in Salinas, California, son of Gina and Greg Hudgens. Vanessa grew up in San Diego. He has a younger sister named Stella Hudgens who is also an actress. Nessa also played in the series-series Nickelodeon, Drake & Josh and the Garcia Brothers. He was friendly with many actresses Disney mainstay of Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Monique Coleman, Corbin Bleu, Brenda Song, Cole & Dylan Sprouse, Miley Cyrus, and he was also friendly with, Alexa Nikolas, Zoey 101 players.
Musical career began when he played in High School Musical and continues with the singles album titled "V" in 2006. His album made it into the ranks of billboard 200. In 2008, Vannessa issued a second album is titled Identified. Vanessa Hudgens is currently carrying out her tour, titled "Identified Tour" until October 2008.
